Can you believe we are in week 4 of the year and almost at the end of January?!
If you haven't managed to banish your January blues yet then you have definitely come to the right place - we will give you two options:
1. Dive straight into this SS18 trend and inject your wardrobe with the brightest colours
or
2. Get your bake on and make these incredibly bright rainbow cupcakes!
If you are not up for either of those (why not?!) then don't worry, January is nearly over!
As you can tell by our blog, Instagram and all social media, we are constantly big lovers of colour. So we are probably more excited than most about this beautiful SS18 trend. From coats to dresses to bags, the high street stores have got it all going on in the most beautiful bright colours. We love this trend because you can go as little or as far as you want. You can go full out with the brightest purple suit (see below) or just keep your outfit muted but inject a pop of colour with your accessories. Read on to see our favourite new pieces and our selection of some of the most bright and beautiful pieces from the high street.

Yes, I realise I am dressed head to toe in River Island but who can blame me with a jacket like that?! I absolutely fell in love the second I saw this jacket. Quite frankly it's what dreams are made of - pink checked dreams! Most sizes are sold out online now but make sure to check in store as well because I know there's still plenty around. It's such a perfect coat for any occasion and I am thrilled to have it in my wardrobe. This bag is one of the many incredible bags on the high street which has been given the rainbow treatment. It is the small triple compartment crossbody in the the most amazing green. It's so handy with the three separate compartments and I love the way it looks with the pink coat - especially with the coloured streets of Portobello Road as the backdrop.

This jumper is one of my favourite things I've bought so far this year, It's incredibly cosy and warm and is very on trend with all these amazing colours around right now. I am really loving green right now and this jumper is such a fun, bright shade!
I love these boots so much, I am a big fan of a chunky heeled boot in general and these silver ones are such an amazing colour! I got them for an absolute bargain at Debenhams, they are £25.50 from £85. There's still quite a lot of sizes left on the website, so if you like them as much as I do, get over there now!

This post has unintentionally become very Topshop heavy, which is strange because we very rarely actually buy from Topshop. But they have some amazing bright pieces this season, especially in the shoe department, so maybe a trip into store is in order! We love the amazing colour of the yellow jumper from Topshop, and think the plait texture gives it such a cosy look. And talking about yellow, how cute is the cropped River Island top. We have this in Black and White polka dot and it's the perfect top for that 'jeans and a nice top' kind of look. It's definitely sunshine in a top! This skirt is such a Toni skirt. It is such an amazing colour and is so gorgeously shiny and silky.

You can't really tell in this picture but the yellow Topshop boots have an amazing, perspex heel, you can see it better in the lilac version (which are also incredible). The colour of these boots is so amazingly bright, they are definitely on our wish list! This may be an SS18 trend but winter is definitely not out of the picture yet. So why not update your knitwear with this orange off the shoulder jumper. It looks effortlessly cosy and would be the perfect all round jumper whether its for in the office, or just a snuggly Sunday.

River Island has some super comfy looking chunky knit cardigans at the moment, in the most amazing vivid colours! They would be perfect to throw on over a fun t-shirt to add a little warmth (and colour)! They also have some lovely bright coats too! This green is actually as the pink checked coat pictured above but in a boucle fabric instead. We love the colour and are slightly concerned that we might need both! The purple suit gives us serious Victoria (InTheFrow) vibes and we absolutely adore it. We're not quite sure when we would wear it but you have to admit it's sooo cool! The yellow bag is also the same as the green bag from above. It's a triple compartment crossbody and is so handy and such a happy colour. The bag comes in yellow, green, pink and the ever useful black, but the yellow is the only to have the gorgeous suede sides.

This suede co-ord set is just incredible, we're just in love! If you're looking to brighten up your smart wardrobe then these two pairs of trousers are perfect. They would definitely turn heads in the office and would perfectly transition your wardrobe from winter to spring to summer!
