WONDERFUL WINTER KNITS
November 06, 2017
Wow, oh wow, the cold weather has certainly hit - and we are SOO happy to be armed with a selection of cosy, warm knitwear! We feel like this winter is already shaping up to be one of the best, knitwear wise, and so we wanted to pull together our fave pieces from the highstreet. We have found an amazing selection of items from jumpers to dresses, in a range of different price ranges, so there will definitely be something for everyone!
This is one of my absolute favourite knits in my wardrobe at the moment! It is so thick and cosy, and really keeps you warm out in the winter cold, but is still perfect for cosying up inside with a cup of tea. It really makes a statement with the chunky cables, fringing and laddering, I just want to wear it everyday!

(River Island - Ultimate Fringe Jumper)
To say I only bought this jumper last week, I've worn it far too many times! It's just so comfortable, it's a lovely soft knit and is the perfect slouchy shape for cozying up on a chilly day. I love the embellishment on the sleeves, it's so pretty and how amazing is the massive dragonfly? I got it from H&M and unfortunately it's sold out on the website but if you like it I'd say it's definitely worth a look in store as there were still plenty left last week! It also comes in a couple of other colours with have different embellishments, we love this grey one and the black one is super pretty too!

1. River Island Fluffy Burgundy Jumper 2. Zara Contrasting Cuff Jumper 3. Bershka Red Cable Knit 4. Warehouse Animal Sparkle Jumper 5. Vero Moda Frill Jumper 6. Warehouse Lace High Neck Jumper 7. River Island Jumper Dress |
As you can maybe tell by the photo grid above - we are loving the red tones this season. There is so much of it about, which is good because we love it! The berry fluffy jumper above is honestly one of the comfiest things we have ever tried on. It's so easy to wear and we think it would look gorgeous tucked into a leather skirt. Slightly trickier to wear is the faux fur sleeved jumper from Zara, but we had to include it, because just look at those sleeves! We are definitely trying that on next time we step foot in Zara. If you are going for more of a subdued look, then the beautiful and elegant lace high neck jumper might be the one for you. We have fallen in love with this ever since finding it on the Warehouse website, and cannot wait to get out hands on it! The balloon sleeve knit dress above is actually the same style as pictured in our recent post - Caught Red Handed. In comes in a total of four colours, and we kind of want to collect them all...
1. ASOS Block Stripe Jumper 2. & Other Stories Zebra Jumper 3. Topshop Embellished Jumper 4. Missguided Stripe Jumper 5. H&M Loose Knit Jumper 6. River Island Fluffy Bardot Jumper 7. & Other Stories Crochet Jumper |
Not all winter knits have to be tones of red or green - as shown by the two striped jumpers above. We absolutely love the colour combination on the ASOS jumper, who knew that pink and turquoise?? would look so incredible together?
One of our most favourite jumpers from this whole post is the Crochet Jumper for &OtherStories. The shape of the sleeves is so amazing, and looks so cute in the crochet knit. We love the cropped length too - perfect for wearing with a high-waisted skirt or pair of jeans.
1. ASOS Embellished Sleeve jumper 2. Boohoo Striped Jumper 3. Zara Pompom Jumper 4. Zara Yellow Jumper 5. Bershka Fringed Sleeve Jumper 6. & Other Stories Shaggy Cardigan |
This little section is home to a few of the more out there and fun knits that we found! And as you can tell by the pom pom jumper in this post, we're not afraid of a knit with a little bit of fun. We love the colour of the ASOS embellished sleeve jumper, and of course love love love the floral sequin embellishment. This is definitely making its way into our next ASOS order. We love a good pompom jumper, and this open knit from Zara is just so cute with its little lines of multi-coloured pompoms across the front and sleeves. It also reminds us of how excited we are to start seeing the colourful christmas lights go up over the next few weeks haha.
The shaggy fringing on the Bershka jumper and &otherstories cardigan is super fun, and has made us really want to get something like this in our wardrobes asap! With the Bershka jumper priced at just £24.99, it is certainly a strong contender.
1. River Island Fairisle Jumper 2. H&M Pearl Jumper 3. New Look Floral Embroidered Jumper 4. River Island Jumper Dress 5. Topshop Bobble Cardigan 6. Topshop Ruffle Sleeve Jumper |
We fell in love with the Topshop ruffle sleeve jumper the moment we saw it. It's a perfect way of looking a little more dressier but still staying super comfy! This bobble cardigan from Topshop is also very high up on our knitwear wishlist. We love the colour and the oversized, slouchy look. We think it looks great the way it is styled on the website, with some leather trousers and a cool slogan tee.
1. & Other Stories Fluffy Jumper 2. H&M Embroidered Jumper 3. River Island Colour Block Jumper 4. New Look Cable Knit 5. & Other Stories Stripe Jumper 6. River Island Cable Knit Jumper Dress |
We really love this colour block jumper from River Island. It's the same shape as the one Imogen is wearing in the pictures above, but in this cool colour block with this gorgeous autumnal orange - the picture makes it look red but it's definitely orange in real life. We think the red striped jumper is so cool with it's american cheerleader vibe. It's a little pricier than most of the knitwear in this post but oh my god, we want it!
