OUR OSCARS BEST DRESSED

March 01, 2017

Well Sunday night was certainly an Oscars ceremony to remember!
Who on earth knows how THAT mix up was even able to happen... but anyway congrats to Moonlight and all the other winners!

Now onto the pretty dresses!

There was a lot of gold this year and as always a lot of sparkle! Which is exactly the kind of thing we love! There were so many stunning dresses on the red carpet and of course a few not-so-stunning, but we won't get into that. So here are our favourites!

Emma Stone in Givenchy Haute Couture
We absolutely love this golden, fringed gown on Emma, it might actually be our favourite! It looks even more stunning when you see it in action, the movement from the fringing is incredible. She finished off the look with gorgeous golden eye make-up and that deep red lipstick compliments the look perfectly.

Brie Larson in Oscar de la Renta
Brie is totally rocking these exaggerated ruffles; Oscar de la Renta never disappoints! We love the neckline and the sleek black paired with a classic red lip!

Ruth Negga in Valentino
Ruth went all out on the red with this look; the gown, the lip, the eye make-up and even the accessories. It sounds like it would be way too much but we think she looks incredible, and it is such a gorgeous red that you can't help but notice how beautiful she looks!

Ruth Negga in Oscar de la Renta
Ruth is winning again at the Vanity Fair after party, this sequin Oscar de la Renta dress is so sparkly and such a beautiful shape! We love the splashes of colour on the white background.

Taraji P Henson in Alberta Ferretti
Wow! Taraji looks absolutely incredible in this dress, its fairly simple but the navy velvet and the flawless cut of this custom Alberta Feretti gown are just perfect for her. This is such an elegant look!

Karlie Kloss in Stella McCartney
Karlie always works a white dress! This is another super simple gown, but the one shouldered cape paired with the Hollywood glamour make-up and gorgeous choker make this a stunning look!

Karlie Kloss in Naeem Khan
Karlie changed into another amazing gown for the Vanity Fair party! This red, sequinned Naeem Khan dress is gorgeous, and this shade of red suits her perfectly!

Auli'i Cravalho in Rubin Singer
We love this white and gold dress so much! Auli'i looks incredibly pretty in the sparkly, layered gown and her performance was amazing too! We can't believe that Moana didn't win any awards, but at least she managed to look like a stunning princess for the night!

Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Murad
Chrissy has really been getting it right this awards season if you ask us! This white, embellished gown is beautiful and the split is the perfect height to show just the right amount of leg but not overshadow the gorgeous silhouette of the dress.

Hailee Steinfeld in Ralph & Russo
Oh my goodness, this Ralph & Russo gown is just perfect! Hailee looks like an ethereal princess in the pale, floral dress, and we love the high neck on this dress. Sometimes you just can't beat a princess dress, in a beautiful fabric!

Isabelle Huppert in Armani Privé
Yet another gorgeous, pale coloured dress! We are loving the whites on the red carpet this year! This is such a classic style and the all over embellishment looks amazing on Isabelle.

Jessica Biel in Kaufman Franco
Jessica Biel could almost be mistaken for an Oscar statuette herself in this head to toe golden goddess gown! The way the train pools on the ground looks incredibly elegant and the slightly distressed sequin fabric gives it a unique twist. This is definitely a standout look!

Sofia Boutella in Chanel Couture
Sometimes this feathered hem look can be a bit hit and miss for us but Sofia looks beautiful in this one by Chanel. The embellished sequin fabric makes this one of the sparkliest on the red carpet and it has just the right amount of feathers to make it super chic.

Alicia Vikander in Louis Vuitton
We love this amazing deep green gown on Alicia, the colour gives the dress such a rich, indulgent feel and it compliments her skin tone perfectly. The split gives a subtle flash of skin and adds just the perfect amount of daring to the look.

Amy Adams in Tom Ford
We love the shape of this dress on Amy, the slightly square shoulder and deep neckline really suits her. The gorgeous soft waves in her hair really compliment the dress and what better way to make an impression on the red carpet that shining from head to toe!
